Andy finally came yesterday. He gave me the gifts my family sent to me at devotion last night. I am filled with love and gratitude for my family. Stacie sent me her spare camera to use, for which I am understandably grateful. Mom sent me some DoTerra vitamins. I have needed vitamins ever since I came here. I don’t know why I didn’t think to bring any. Aunt Coral also sent some vitamins, so theoretically, I should be healthier now. Well, that is as long as I don’t pig out on all the awesome candy they sent me, too. They sent two boxes of Mike and Ike, a box of Skittles, a big bag of Runts from WinCo, and a can of dried apples with Jello on top. Oh yummy!
Mom also sent me a new car adapter. I’m so grateful for that! Now we can charge our laptops, cameras, and phones all at the same time (It’s a pretty fancy adapter with two regular plugs, to USB plugs, and a cigarette lighter plug). She also sent me some sketch books. I just about cried when I saw them. They are the ones that I made with my students at ATEC last year. I miss my students. Anyway, I’m using one of them as a gift for Rufus. I’m making a basic drawing instruction book to give to him when I leave. I hope he’ll like it.
Well, my laptop is going to die because I used all the power listening to conference today. Writing time is up.
